who I am...
I’m an Assistant Professor of Rhetoric-Composition at Regis University in Denver, CO where I enjoy being part of the First Year Experience and working with undergraduate writers.
I received my PhD in Rhetoric, Scientific, & Technical Communication from the Department of Writing Studies at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities in 2018. My dissertation work focused on race, critical community literacy, and rhetorics of the public sphere.
I’m committed to the projects of antiracism and intersectional feminism in every expression of my work. I’m also a wanna-be hiker, a rescue dog lover, and a big fan of "slow" anything.
